Schedule of Services for POOLE, Dorset

MAY - JULY 2013

The Western Rite Mattins are sung on most Sundays. The Bournemouth-Poole Orthodox Christian Foundation now owns the former Saint Osmond's church in Parkstone, Poole (St. Osmunds Rd. Parkstone, Poole, BH14 9JG). Father Chrysostom, the Parish Priest of Saint Dunstan's is kindly allowing us to sing our Western Rite Mattins in the little chapel behind Our Lady's Chapel; it can be accessed by the south side of the main Sanctuary (see photographs below): the start time enables us to finish before the start of the Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. This web site is updated monthly. Please check regularly.

We thank Father Thomas for coming to Weston super Mare on 18th November 2012 to celebrate our first Western Rite Liturgy of Saint Gregory the Great and for continuing to celebrate the Western Rite Liturgy for us as often as possible.

May 26th: EASTER III (3rd Sunday After Easter): 9:30 a.m. Western Rite Mattins and the Litany to the Most Holy Trinity in Saint Eanswythe Chapel, Saint Dunstan's Parish Church, St Osmond's Road, Parkstone, Poole, BH14 9JG, followed at 10:30 by the Liturgy of the Antiochian Orthodox Church.

June 2nd: EASTER IV (4th sunday After Easter): No Western Rite Mattins this morning but at 10:30 a.m. the usual Liturgy of the Antiochian Orthodox Church at Saint Dunstan's Parish Church, St Osmond's Road, Parkstone, Poole, BH14 9JG

June 9th: EASTER V (5th Sunday After Easter): 9:30 a.m. Western Rite Mattins and the Litany to the Most Holy Trinity in Saint Eanswythe Chapel, Saint Dunstan's Parish Church, St Osmond's Road, Parkstone, Poole, BH14 9JG, followed at 10:30 by the Liturgy of the Antiochian Orthodox Church.

July 20th: Saturday in Octave of Pentecost III:  Father Thomas might be celebrating a morning Western Rite Liturgy in the Bournemouth-Poole area.  Keep checking this site for further information which will be posted as soon as it is confirmed.
